Ingredients
- 48 - hershey's kisses, unwrapped
- 1/2 cup shortening, butter flavor
- 3/4 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 - egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour, all purpose
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - additional granulated sugar
How To Make peanut butter blossoms

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 375F. Unwrap Kisses.

Step 2Beat shortening and peanut butter in a large bowl until well blended. Add the sugars, beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla, bet well. Stir together the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beast into the peanut butter mixture.

Step 3Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 4Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie; cookies will crack around the edges. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
