I just love anything with peanut butter.

Serves:
5 1/2 dozen cookies

Ingredients

  • 8 Tbsp
    butter (or 1/2 cup)
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 8 oz
    package chopped dates
  • 1 large
    egg
  • c
    3/4 cup natural stirred peanut butter
  • 3 c
    corn flakes, slightly crushed
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 c
    powdered sugar

How to Make Peanut Butter and Dates

Step-by-Step

  1. MELT butter in 12-inch skillet; add brown sugar and dates. Remove from heat; stir in egg. Cook over low eat until mixture comes to a boil: boil one minute.
  2. STIR in peanut butter until melted. Add corn flakes and vanilla; mix well. Cool 15 minute
  3. SHAPE rounded teaspoons into one-inch balls; roll in powdered sugar. Wen cool, roll in powdered sugar again.
