Ingredients
- 4 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
- 2 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 3/4 cup surgar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup, dark
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dried cherries

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a sauce pan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stir frequently. Remove sauce pan from heat. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder.

Step 2In a large bowl, mix chocolate mixture, sugar and brown sugar, vanilla, dark corn syrup, and peanut butter. Whisk in eggs, one at a time. Gradually add in flour mixture. Add chocolate chips and cherries, stir until evenly mixed.

Step 3Shape dough by rounded tablespoons, place balls 1 1/2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork in a crisscross pattern. Bake with love for 10-12 minutes.
