Ingredients

28 - oreos cookies
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup chocolate liquor (optional)
1 cup sugar
4 ounces evaporated milk
4 - squares semi sweet chocolate
1 stick margarine
12 ounces cool whip
1 cup sliced almonds or other garnish

How To Make oreo cookie freezer dessert

Step 1

Crush oreos and mix with 1/4 cup of melted margarine. Spread in 9x13 pan and freeze.

Step 2

Soften ice cream and blend in liquor, pour into frozen pan with the oreos.
Step 3

Put back in the freezer until very firm.
Step 4

In a medium saucepan add sugar , evaporated milk, stick of margarine and chocolate. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Cool and pour over the ice cream and refreeze. Decorate with cool whip and almonds.
