Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 16 - double stuf regular oreo cookies, chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chips, milk or dark chocolate (whatever you like)
- 2 tablespoons shortening, butter flavor
How To Make oreo biscotti

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2In large bowl, combine sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla; mix well. Add flour, baking powder & salt; mix well. Stir in chopped oreos. Divide dough in 1/2. Shape each 1/2 into 9 x 13" loaf on greased baking sheet with floured hands. Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 3Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes. Cut each loaf diagonally into 16 slices. Place slices, cut side up, on same baking sheet. Bake an additional 10 - 12 minutes on each side or until toasted on both sides. Cool on rack.

Step 4Once cooled, microwave chocolate & shortening together & stir until smooth. Dip each biscotti 1/2 in mixture & place back on same baking sheet to dry completely.

Step 5VARIATIONS: Use different flavored oreos to mix things up a bit.
