1Line bottom of pans with greased brown paper (paper bags).Do not line pan on sides.
Save a little flour to roll nuts and candy in before adding to mixture.
Fill pans 1/4" thick (not 1/2") in 8" square pans. Bake in 300 degree over for 35 minutes.
Turn cake on white powdered sugar on brown paper. Slice into small squares while hot and sift with more white powdered sugar.
