Ingredients

  • 2 c
    bisquick
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, softened
  • 3 Tbsp
    grated orange peel
  • 1 medium
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    coconut, flaked
  • 2 Tbsp
    mini chocolate chips (or other flavor if you prefer)
  • 2 Tbsp
    pecans, in pieces

How to Make Orange Quickies

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat together sugar, shortening, orange zest and egg. Mix well. Stir in baking mix and blend well. Stir in coconut, chips and nuts. Drop dough by teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 400 degrees about 9 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 2 dozen.
