Ingredients

1 package moist deluxe orange supreme cake mix
1 - 8 oz. container vanilla low fat yogurt
1 - egg
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 can pecan halves
1 teaspoon orange extract, optional for extra flavoring

How To Make orange pecan gems

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350^. Grease baking sheets. Combine cake mix, yogurt, egg, butter and chopped pecans in large bowl. Beat at low speed until blended.

Step 2

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Press pecan half into center of each cookie. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown . Cool 1 minute on baking sheets, remove to cooling racks. Cool completely.
