Ingredients

1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar, packes
1 - egg
1 teaspoon grated orange rind
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped pecans

How To Make orange pecan cookies

Step 1

Mix margarine,sugar, egg, orange rind, and vanilla.

Step 2

Blend in flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir in pecans
Step 3

Form into rolls 2 1/2 inches across. Wrap in waxed paper and chill until firm.
Step 4

Slice 1/8 inch thick and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400* for 8 to 10 minutes. This makes 3 dozen cookies.
