Ingredients

flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 tsp
salt
1/2 c
butter
2/3 c
sugar
1 large
egg
1/2 c
frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted
1 c
oats, quick cooking
3/4 c
raisins
for a little more citrus flavor you could add grated orange zest

How to Make Orange Oatmeal Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease baking sheets.
  • 2Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside. Cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well.
  • 3Add orange juice concentrate, 1 tablespoon at a time, alternating with any dry ingredient, beating well after each addition. Fold in oats and raisins.
  • 4Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
