Growing up, there was nothing better on a hot day than an Orange Julius. I was inspired by those flavors to make these cookies.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 sticks softened butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 3 teaspoons grated orange zest
- 12 ounces white chocolate morsels (2 cups)
How To Make orange julius cookies

Step 1Prepare your cookie sheets by spraying them with Pam. You can also use a parchment-lined cookie sheet if you prefer.

Step 2In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir well and set aside. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.

Step 3Add the beaten egg to the bowl with the butter and the sugars. Stir it all up. Them stir in the grated orange zest. Stir in the flour, salt, and baking soda mixture and mix well.

Step 4Stir in the white chocolate chips. Driop by teaspoonfuls on a prepared cookie sheet, 12 cookeis to a standard-size sheet. Flatten the cookeis in a crisscross pattern with a fork, the way you'd do for peanut butter cookies.

Step 5Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for 10 t o 12 minutes. Leave the cookies on the cookie sheet for a minute or two,a dnthen remove them to a wire rack to cool completely.
