Have been wanting to try putting together a cakemix cookie, but didn't want the typical chocolate chip, so I gave this a try and it's so good, especially for this time of year.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp
    margarine or butter
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese softened
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    orange juice concentrate
  • 1 Tbsp
    finley chopped orange zest
  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix with pudding
  • 1/2 c
    coarse chopped dried cranberries

How to Make Orange Cranberry Cakemix Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream the first 5 ingredients together until mixed completely.
  3. Mix in cake mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Add cranberries, then chill for at least 30 minutes to an hour before baking.
  5. Drop by small amounts onto greased cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes (check for light browning). Keep mix in the fridge while cookies are baking.
