Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 4 cups self rising flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make old fashioned tea cakes

Step 1No Milk, No Liquid. Mix all ingredients together except the flour.

Step 2Gradually add the flour 1 cup at a time. When completely mixed, roll into a ball

Step 3Roll out and cut with large cookie cutters. Add small amount of flour to surface, use dough roller to roll out dough.

Step 4Bake at 375 oven until slightly brown around the outer edges. Let cool on flat surface.
