How to Make Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar; add egg and beat until fluffy. Blend in flour, baking powder, and salt. Add vanilla and milk and mix until a stiff dough is formed. Chill thoroughtly.
  3. Roll out 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
