3/4 cshortening
-
1 csugar
-
1egg
-
4 Tbspmolasses
-
2 call purpose flour
-
2 tspbaking soda

1 tspground cloves
-
1 tsppowdered ginger
-
2 tspcinnamon
How to Make Old Fashioned Gingersnaps
- Mix all ingredients and chill for 15 minutes. Roll into small balls using about a teaspoonfull of dough. Roll in sugar. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Make sure to not over cook these so they will be soft and chewy.
