    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1 c
  • 2
    large eggs
  • 2 tsp
  • 2-1/2 c
    quick-cooking oats
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Oatmeal Walnut Raisin Cookies


  1. Sift dry ingredients.
    Beat butter, both sugars, then eggs, and vanilla until creamy.
    With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the flour mixture. Beat just until blended.
    Stir in oats, raisins, and nuts.
  2. Roll heaping tablespoons of the dough into balls.
    Bake at 375 degrees on ungreased baking sheet for 10 to 12 minutes.
