Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/4 cups coarsely chopped and lightly toasted walnuts
How To Make oatmeal walnut cookies

Step 1preheat oven to 375.

Step 2lightly grease cookie sheets. combine first set of dry ingredients in a large bowl with a wire whisk.

Step 3in a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars. add egg and vanilla. combine completely.

Step 4slowly add flour mixture until combined. hand stir in oats and walnuts.

Step 5drop 2 tablespoons of dough onto prepared cookie sheets. bake for 12-14 minutes.

Step 6take from oven and allow to cool on cookie sheets for 1-2 minutes.

Step 7remove cookies to wire rack and cool completely before storing them in a cookie jar with a loose lid.
