oatmeal scotchies
Basically an oatmeal cookie with butterscotch chips. Quite tasty, just be careful not to overbake them!

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 3 cups quick or old fashioned oats
- 1 package butterscotch morsels (1 2/3 cup)
How To Make oatmeal scotchies

Step 1Heat oven to 350 (the original says 375, but I always bake cookies at a slightly lower temp then recipes say to do).

Step 2Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl. Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually add in flour mixture to the butter mixture. Stir in oats and morsels.

Step 3Drop by rounded tabespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 7-9 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for about 2 minutes before moving to wire rack to cool completely.
