The key to this cookie is be sure and soak the raisins and to refrigerate. They are by far the best oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever had.

Ingredients
- 1 cup raisins soaked in 1 cup warm water for at least 10 minutes
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups oats, quick cooking
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
How To Make oatmeal raisin cookies

Step 1In bowl combine dry ingredients and set aside.

Step 2In separate bowl combine sugars and butter. Add eggs and mix until creamy.

Step 3Add dry ingredients and oatmeal, raisins and nuts.

Step 4After thoroughly combining, place in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or even overnight.

Step 5Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes.
