This recipe belongs to my dearly departed pop-pop my aunt gave it to me in a special book that she made for me when i got married i have had this yummy cookies before so i have decided to share it with you .. enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    shortening
  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    quick oats
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips or raisins

How to Make Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. cream suagrs and shortening . add eggs and peanut butter and beat well
  2. gradually add flour, salt and baking soda . add vanilla . stire in quick oats and chocolate chips or raisins
  3. drop heaping teaspoons onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 mins ... enjoy!
