This recipe belongs to my dearly departed pop-pop my aunt gave it to me in a special book that she made for me when i got married i have had this yummy cookies before so i have decided to share it with you .. enjoy!

method Convection Oven

yield make over a dozen cookies

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter
3 - eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups quick oats
1 cup chocolate chips or raisins

How To Make oatmeal peanut butter cookies

Step 1

cream suagrs and shortening . add eggs and peanut butter and beat well

Step 2

gradually add flour, salt and baking soda . add vanilla . stire in quick oats and chocolate chips or raisins
Step 3

drop heaping teaspoons onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 mins ... enjoy!
