oatmeal molasses cookies
The smell of these cookies take me straight back to when I was a little kid, running into the house checking the cookie jar because I knew mom had made a fresh batch! The molasses keeps them soft and chewy as well as giving them their distinct flavor. These remain my ALL-TIME favorite cookie. Makes approx. 3 dozen, depending on how much you eat ahead of time.
