oatmeal cranberry cookies
This wonderful recipe was given to me by a friend and is delicious. You cannot eat just one. Everyone tells me they are the best oatmeal cookies they have ever eaten. The cranberries just add to their prefection.

Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups old fashioned oat meal
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup chopped nuts
How To Make oatmeal cranberry cookies

Step 1In large bowl, mix softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into shortening mixture. All oatmeal, nuts and cranberries. Mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls, flatten slightly with fork and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 2Bake 11 to 13 minutes until slightly moist in center and just beginning to brown on edges.
