My co-worker gave me this recipe and I added a few things. They are super yummy and moist. I usually make my cookies with butter but this is very good.

Ingredients For oatmeal cranberry cookies

  • 3/4 c
    butter flavor shortening
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • DRY INGREDIENTS
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    netmeg
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    dried cranberries
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 2 3/4 c
    oatmeal, uncooked

How To Make oatmeal cranberry cookies

    Preheat oven to 350

    Cream togather the shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla with an electric beater until blended well.

    In a small bowl combine the flour, netmeg, cinnamon, and baking soda...slowly beat into the shortening mixture.

    Stir in by hand the oatmeal, cranberries and walnuts.

    Lightly spray your baking sheet with cooking spray ( I always use parchement paper when baking cookies) Drop about a tablespoon of mix on cookie sheets.

    Bake 10-13 minutes..or until golden brown.
