My co-worker gave me this recipe and I added a few things. They are super yummy and moist. I usually make my cookies with butter but this is very good.

Ingredients

3/4 c
butter flavor shortening
3/4 c
sugar
3/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2
eggs
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract

DRY INGREDIENTS

1 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
netmeg
2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
dried cranberries
1 c
chopped walnuts
2 3/4 c
oatmeal, uncooked

How to Make Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350
  • 2Cream togather the shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla with an electric beater until blended well.
  • 3In a small bowl combine the flour, netmeg, cinnamon, and baking soda...slowly beat into the shortening mixture.
  • 4Stir in by hand the oatmeal, cranberries and walnuts.
  • 5Lightly spray your baking sheet with cooking spray ( I always use parchement paper when baking cookies) Drop about a tablespoon of mix on cookie sheets.
  • 6Bake 10-13 minutes..or until golden brown.
