oatmeal craisin cookies
This is my all-time favorite cookie recipe! I've been posting several of my Christmas cookie recipes. One of the ones I used to make were oatmeal cookies, but I have since married and hubby's family recipe for oatmeal cookies is MUCH better than mine. They are fluffy and cakey, a little chewy...just the way I love them! So, I'm posting his recipe, with a substitution that has made it become my all-time fave...CRAISINS! If you haven't had an oatmeal cookie with craisins and walnuts, you haven't lived! Just like that heaven was born...I'm sure I heard angels sing. They are THAT good! Enjoy!
