oatmeal cookies with the kick
I got tired of the same old oatmeal cookies taste, so I decided to kick it up a notch. Ladies enjoy them, but man are crazy about them. This is the number one recipe for oatmeal cookies and my family.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups firm packed brown sugar
- 4 cups quaker quick oats ( uncooked)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves + 1/8 tsp for extra kick
- MAKES DRY INGREDIENTS WELL
- WET INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 2 - eggs well beaten
- 2 - small cans of evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- MIX UNTIL WELL INCORPORATED
How To Make oatmeal cookies with the kick

Step 1Fold in 1 cup cup of coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts with one cup of raisins.

Step 2Using a cookie scoop, place cookies approximately 1/4 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.

Step 3In a 350° preheated oven bake 12 to 15 minutes, until you see a little golden brown around the edges of the cookies.
