I got tired of the same old oatmeal cookies taste, so I decided to kick it up a notch. Ladies enjoy them, but man are crazy about them. This is the number one recipe for oatmeal cookies and my family.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
firm packed brown sugar
4 c
quaker quick oats ( uncooked)
2 c
all-purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
3 tsp
cinnamon
1 dash(es)
nutmeg
1/8 tsp
ground cloves + 1/8 tsp for extra kick

MAKES DRY INGREDIENTS WELL

WET INGREDIENTS

3/4 c
canola oil
2
eggs well beaten
2
small cans of evaporated milk
2 tsp
vanilla extract

MIX UNTIL WELL INCORPORATED

How to Make Oatmeal cookies with the kick

Step-by-Step

  • 1Fold in 1 cup cup of coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts with one cup of raisins.
  • 2Using a cookie scoop, place cookies approximately 1/4 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.
  • 3In a 350° preheated oven bake 12 to 15 minutes, until you see a little golden brown around the edges of the cookies.
