Ingredients

CREAM
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup shortening
ADD
2 - well beaten eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 1/4 c. boiling water
ADD
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups flour

How To Make oatmeal cookies

Step 1

Mix well and drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet

Step 2

Bake at 375 until light brown.
