Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
- 1 cup (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
- 1 package (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 2 cups oats (quick or old fashioned uncooked)
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make oatmeal cocoa chippers

Step 1preheat oven to 300 degrees. in a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, bakingsoda and salt; set aside.

Step 2in a large mixer bowl, combine maragine, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.

Step 3add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. gradually beat in flour mixture. stir in semi-sweet chocolate morsels, oats and walnuts.

Step 4drop by slighly round measuring TBS. onto ungreased cookie sheet. bake 9 to 11 minutes for chewy cookies, 12 to 13 mitues for crisp cookies. let stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet; cool completely.
