This is a quick and easy recipe and can be baked as bars or round cookies.and you can use any combination of refrigerated cookie tubes,or make from scratch cookie doughs. These are quick and easy to make, when you need to replenish your cookie jar and you are just not up to it or in the mood to make cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated chocolate chip cookie roll, room temperature
- 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough, room temperature
- 1/2 cup quick rolled oats
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
How To Make oatmeal chocolate chip squares or rounds

Step 1Heat oven to 375^. Place one roll of unwrapped cookie dough on a floured surface; Flatten into a rectangle to about 1/2 inch thick or a little less. Sprinkle with the mini chips. Combine the sugar cookie dough and the oatmeal blending well then; flattened the same way you did the other cookie roll. Place on top of the mini chocolate chips. Using wax paper cover top of oatmeal dough on the chips and roll slightly to flatten to 1 1/2 inches thick.

Step 2Cut dough into 2 inch squares or into 2- inch circles. Place on parchment covered cookie sheets and bake checking after 8 to 10 minutes, and rotating cookie sheets. Bake until lightly browned and set.About 15 minutes all together.

Step 3Note: Any combination of refrigerated cookie dough can be used: Chocolate/sugar cookies peanut butter/ chocolate chip sugar/ ginger cookie --- You can even make these using your own homemade cookie dough. Fill middles with your favorite spread or chips or nut and date mixture, etc. --- These will be great on any holiday plate. Try using different cookie cutters or cookie shapes, diamonds, triangles,,,etc.
