- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter,softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- FILLING
- 12 ounces cream cheese,softened
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1Preheat oven to 350*F.Line a 13-x 9-inch baking pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil,letting the foil hang over the sides.Greased the foil.

Step 2Place the brown sugar and butter in a large bowl.Beat with an electric mixer set on medium speed until light and fluffy,about 1 minute.Add the eggs and vanilla.Beat until well blended,about 1 minute longer.Combine the oats,flour,baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.Stir the oats mixture into the butter mixture until blended.Spread half of the dough evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan.

Step 3For the filing,place the cream cheese in medium bowl. Beat on medium speed unti fluffy,about 30 seconds,Gradually beat in the milk until smooth,about 30 seconds longer.Beat in the egg and vanilla until blended,about 30 seconds more. Pour the filling evenly over the dough in the baking pan.Drop the remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over the filling.

Step 4Bake until golden brown,30-35 minutes.Cool completely. Use the foil to lift the bars out of pan. Cut into 24 bars to serve...Enjoy :)
