- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 2/3 cups butterscotch chips
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Step 1preheat oven 375 degrees

Step 2in a large bowl beat the butter, white sugar and brown sugar together. add the eggs and vinilla and beat well.

Step 3stir together the flour, baking soda,nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. gradually add the mixture to the butter mixture and stir until blended. stir in the oats and the butterscotch chips. then mix in the maple at the end. drop teaspoons onto a ungressed cookie sheet.

Step 4bake about 8 to 10 minutes, until edges begin to brown.
