    butter
  • 3/4 c
    white sugar
  • 3/4 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    rolled oats
  • 1 2/3 c
    butterscotch chips
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp
    maple syrup

How to Make Oatmeal Butterscotch cookies with maple

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven 375 degrees
  2. in a large bowl beat the butter, white sugar and brown sugar together. add the eggs and vinilla and beat well.
  3. stir together the flour, baking soda,nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. gradually add the mixture to the butter mixture and stir until blended. stir in the oats and the butterscotch chips. then mix in the maple at the end. drop teaspoons onto a ungressed cookie sheet.
  4. bake about 8 to 10 minutes, until edges begin to brown.
