Ingredients
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups quick or old fashion oats uncooked
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium apple shredded peeled
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- DRIZZLE
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
How To Make oatmeal apple cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat together brown sugar and margarine (or butter if your using butter), until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in apples and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 -12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet: remove to wire cooling rack.

Step 2Combine powdered sugar and milk. drizzle over cooled cookies. Store in tightly covered container.
