"o" cookies
I was asked to bring a dish to pass to a BBQ. I didn't have time to run to the store, so I looked in my pantry to see what I had. All I had was a box of cake mix and leftover ingredients from the Strawberry Pretzel Dessert I had made the day before. This is what I came up with. Since then I have made it a few more times to bring as a dish to pass. They have ALWAYS been a hit! Someone even suggested trying them frozen. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!! :)

Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix, devils food
- 1 - egg
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon water
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
How To Make "o" cookies

Step 1Mix together cake mix, egg, butter & water until a soft dough forms.

Step 2Drop by rounded tablespoon on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 9-13 minutes until cracks start to appear. Let cool.

Step 4Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Step 5Fold in whipped topping.

Step 6Spoon filling mixture in between two cooled cookies.

Step 7Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

Step 8Put in the fridge for 15 minutes to set or you can put in the freezer (and eat them straight from the freezer). Enjoy!
