I just added pecans, my fav nut to a blondie recipe. I also added the white chocolate chips they make it rich. You can use any kind of nuts macadamia are good to. You can also use light brown sugar.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter,softened
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 - eggs, well beaten
1 cup flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans, in pieces
1 cup white chocolate chips

How To Make nutty blondes

Step 1

Preheat oven at 325. Grease a square cake pan 8x8

Step 2

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and mix thouroughly.
Step 3

Sift flour and baking powder together. Add to first mixture and blend.
Step 4

Add vanilla, pecans and chips.
Step 5

Pour into cake pan and bake for 40 mins, cool in pan
