I was introduced to Nutella at my grandmother's house in Germany. For years, you had to go to a German deli to find it. I'm so glad that Nutella has become easily available in the US. Aldi's and others have their own generic variety which are just as good.

Ingredients For nutella chip cookies

1 1/2 cflour

1 1/2 tspcornstarch

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 cbutter, softened
-
1/4 cgranulated sugar
-
2/3 clight brown sugar
-
1egg
-
3/4 cNutella or other chocolate hazelnut spread

1 1/2 tsphazelnut extract or vanilla

1/2 cwhite chocolate chips
How To Make nutella chip cookies

1Preheat oven to 350º F.

2Mix together dry ingredients. Set aside.

3Beat butter and add sugars. Beat until well combined.

4Add the egg, then the nutella and extract. Beat together until well combined.

5Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Fold in white chocolate chips.

6Using a small (1 Tablespoon) cookie scoop, place on parchement paper covered baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

7Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool on sheet for a minute or two, then finish cooling on wire racks.

8Makes about 60 cookies.
