nutella chip cookies
I was introduced to Nutella at my grandmother's house in Germany. For years, you had to go to a German deli to find it. I'm so glad that Nutella has become easily available in the US. Aldi's and others have their own generic variety which are just as good.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup Nutella or other chocolate hazelnut spread
- 1 1/2 teaspoons hazelnut extract or vanilla
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
How To Make nutella chip cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350º F.

Step 2Mix together dry ingredients. Set aside.

Step 3Beat butter and add sugars. Beat until well combined.

Step 4Add the egg, then the nutella and extract. Beat together until well combined.

Step 5Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Fold in white chocolate chips.

Step 6Using a small (1 Tablespoon) cookie scoop, place on parchement paper covered baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

Step 7Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool on sheet for a minute or two, then finish cooling on wire racks.

Step 8Makes about 60 cookies.
