My Nana made these every Chrismas and we loved them! We have passed this recipe down through every generation. Make some for your family and friends. They are guaranteed to get rave reviews!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 - hard cooked egg yolks
How To Make norwegian crowns

Step 1Preheat over to 400 degrees.

Step 2Cream butter in a mixer on medium speed. Put egg yolks through a sieve and add to butter in mixer. Add sugar and vanilla. Add flour. Mix to incorporate.

Step 3Roll into 1 inch balls and put on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Depress each with a fork in a criss cross pattern. Optional: I decorate these with green and red sprinkles for Chrismas before baking.

Step 4Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
