My neighbor shared this recipe with me. She made them at Christmas time and always shared a plate of cookies with these cookies. Love, love them.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons orange rind, grated
2 - eggs
4 cups flour
- egg white
- candied red cherries, quartered.

How To Make norwegian berlin wreaths

Step 1

Beat first four ingredients until fluffy. Add the flour and mix well. Make a circle by rolling pieces of the dough and make a knot. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with egg white.

Step 2

Place bits of candied red cherries at knot. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes.
