My brother loves no bake cookies, when we where kids, he would make a double batch of no bake cookies and be saying "BA-MM" with every ingredient, (like Emeril Lagasse)as he threw together these no bake cookies. Every time i see an Emeril spice jar or cook book, I think of him making these cookies :)

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 12 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    peanut buter
  • 6 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 3/4 c
    walnuts (optional)

How to Make No Bake Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. on a med heat, bring together sugar,cocoa,milk and butter to a boil for 1 1/2 min. stir in peanut butter,vanilla, and oatmeal, and walnuts(optional)
    remove from heat and let stand for 5 min.
  2. with a small ice cream scoop, make small balls and place on a wax paper sheet, like drop cookies. place in fridge for 1 1/2 hours, or longer.
  3. serve with milk and enjoy!!!
