Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter, softened at room temp
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 5 tsp
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut
  • 3 c
    rolled oatmeal, uncooked

How to Make No Bake Chocolate Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Lay wax paper out on to a flat surface. Mix oatmeal and coconut together in to a large bowl until blended well. Put all of the remaining ingredients together in to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat and stir the mixture constantly. Bring the mixture to a boil. Boil the mixture for 2 minutes. Remove the mixture from the heat. Turn the stove off. Add the mixture to the oatmeal mixture. Stir the mixture until blended well. Drop the mixture from spoonfuls on to wax paper. Allow the cookies to cool completely and serve.
