nieman marcus cookies
This is supposed to be the recipe that they use in the Nieman Marcus Stores. Whether it is or not, it doesn't matter, they are delish. There are a lot of ingredients, but it makes ALOT of cookies, about 4 dozen.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces hershey bar, busted into small pieces
- 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups nuts-----your choice, i use walnuts

Step 1Pre heat oven to 375 degrees Measure oatmeal and blend in blender or food processor to a fine powder

Step 2In mixing bowl, cream together butter and both sugars, add eggs and vanilla.

Step 3In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Slowly add to mixing bowl while its running a low to mediem speed. Add choclate chips, hershey bar and nuts. (the cookie dough is really thick, you may have to stir in the choclate and nuts by hand)

Step 4Put on greased cookie sheets, by the tablespoon full and bake for 10 minutes
