The title of this recipe from the 50's is a little misleading. But the cooking time is only 2 minutes! My mother made these for all of us kids, and we devoured them!

1 stick
1/2 c
1/4 c
cocoa powder
1/2 c
peanut butter
2 tsp
vanilla extract
3 1/2 c
oatmeal, uncooked
1 c
nuts, optional

How to Make Nanna's No Cook Cookies


  • 1Mix together, in saucepan, sugar, butter, milk and cocoa.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
  • 2Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. (Add nuts, if desired).
  • 3Drop onto wax paper and allow to cool (if you can wait long enough)!
