nana's favorate white chocolate macadamea nut cookies

Been making this one for my mom for years. It's a combination of several versions of her very favorite cookies. She passed away this April but her favorite cookies will live on as I will think of her every time I bake them for my family.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chuncks
- 1 1/4 cups macadamea nuts - broken but not crushed

Step 1Preheat oven to 375

Step 2Combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well.

Step 3Beat together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy.

Step 4Mix in nuts and chocolate. Slowly add flour mix one cup at a time. Mix until well combined.

Step 5Place walnut sized balls of dough on a baking sheet and bake 9-11 minuets.

Step 6Storing the cookies while still warm will keep them chewy. For crisp cookies leave them out over night to set up.
