Been making this one for my mom for years. It's a combination of several versions of her very favorite cookies.

She passed away this April but her favorite cookies will live on as I will think of her every time I bake them for my family.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    white chocolate chuncks
  • 1 1/4 c
    macadamea nuts - broken but not crushed

How to Make Nana's favorate White Chocolate Macadamea Nut Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well.
  3. Beat together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
  4. Mix in nuts and chocolate. Slowly add flour mix one cup at a time. Mix until well combined.
  5. Place walnut sized balls of dough on a baking sheet and bake 9-11 minuets.
  6. Storing the cookies while still warm will keep them chewy. For crisp cookies leave them out over night to set up.
