Been making this one for my mom for years. It's a combination of several versions of her very favorite cookies. She passed away this April but her favorite cookies will live on as I will think of her every time I bake them for my family.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chuncks
  • 1 1/4 cups macadamea nuts - broken but not crushed

How To Make nana's favorate white chocolate macadamea nut cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375
  • Step 2
    Combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well.
  • Step 3
    Beat together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
  • Step 4
    Mix in nuts and chocolate. Slowly add flour mix one cup at a time. Mix until well combined.
  • Step 5
    Place walnut sized balls of dough on a baking sheet and bake 9-11 minuets.
  • Step 6
    Storing the cookies while still warm will keep them chewy. For crisp cookies leave them out over night to set up.
