I will be honest the first time I made this I did think it was a cookie & I did it wrong. It did taste good & my brother Arron who just got back home from a tour in Paris told me "you could call it a cookie Kit if you want, I don't care as long as I can have another one." LOL Gotta love family....

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 2-1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 tablespoons butter, cold
- 1-1/2 cup banana nut whole grain cereal flakes
- 1 - egg
- 1 jar vanilla low-fat yogurt
How To Make nana raisin scones

Step 1Firt preheat the oven to 425F. Mix the raisins & water in a small bowl. Then set aside. Then mix the flour, sugar,baking powder & baking soda in a large bowl. Then cut in the butter with a fork or pastry cutter until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Then stir in the cereal. beat the egg in a small bowl well, then stir in the yogurt,raisins & their liquid. Then add in the flour mixture & mix until forms soft dough.

Step 2Next drop the dough by 1/4 cupfuls about 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheets.

Step 3Then abke for about 10 mins or until lightly browned. And then serve warm.
