Everyone has had chocolate "no-bakes" right? Well, these are peanut butter! They are so good-I make them several times a year to take to work or just to keep in the fridge for us to munch on.

Ingredients

2 c
sugar
1 stick
margarine
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 c
milk
2 c
quick cooking oats
1 c
peanut butter, creamy

How to Make My Mom's Candy Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1add sugar, butter, milk and vanilla to a medium saucepan. bring to a boil, and boil for 1 1/2 minutes exactly-stirring constantly.
  • 2remove from heat, add oats and peanut butter. stir until mixture begins to thicken.
  • 3Drop by teaspoons full onto wax paper and allow to set up. enjoy! (I like to keep these on a plate in the fridge with wax paper between the layers and a covering of saran wrap. Somehow they are super good cold!!
