When my friends came over after school, the first place they headed was my Mum's cookie jar. This recipe comes out perfect every time :)
I experiment by adding craisins or other small pieces of dried fruit, but I still like the original chocolate chip version the best!
tenderflake lard (substitutes do not work the same)
brown sugar, firmly packed
How To Make mum's tendercrips cookies

Using a WOODEN spoon, in a large bowl, cream lard and butter together. Add sugars gradually, mixing together.
