mum's pie crust cookies
Oh, these are to die for :) Leftover pastry dough, who'd have thunk it lol It was what I looked forward to. Mum always let me help make the cookies. I think making my very own and spreading that spoon of jam, and seeing the final result had me hooked :)

- - jam, any flavor (optional)
How To Make mum's pie crust cookies

Step 1You can use leftover pie crust dough or make pie crust just to make these. Cut strips or shapes from the remaining rolled out dough. Sprinkle them with cinnamon, sugar and sometimes brown sugar (you can also spread a thin layer of jam on one and make a filled cookie) Bake at 350 until brown, about 10 minutes depending upon how thick your cookies are. YUMMY!
