Ingredients

  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 c
    margarine
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How to Make Mum's Peanut Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F In a bowl, cream peanut butter, margarine and sugars. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  2. Add flour sifted with baking powder, soda and salt. Mix well.
  3. Form dough into round balls (about 1 1/2"). Place on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly by criss-crossing with a fork. Tip: dip fork in flour - it won't stick to the batter. Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
