Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts, pecans & hazelnuts {filberts}
How To Make multi chip cookie bars

Step 1In a large mixing bowl beat shortening and butter with electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds

Step 2Add brown sugar, grandualted sugar and baking soda. Beat until mixture is combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionaly

Step 3Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined

Step 4Beat in as much of the flour as you can with mixer. Stir in any remaining flour

Step 5Stir in chips & nuts

Step 6Press dough into an ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan.

Step 7Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 - 20 minutes or unitl golden. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars
