This chocolate goodness will satisfy your chocolate yen for sure. It is rich and so good. I can't remember where I got the recipe, but it has been in my collection for a very long time. It's written on the back of an envelope that is pretty tattered.
1Mix all flour with soda and salt. Cream sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla extract in another bowl until creamy. Add the two bowls together and mix well. Reserve 2/3 cups chocolate chips and stir remainder into batter.
2Add to a foil lined 8x8 square pan. Bake in preheated 375 oven for 25 minutes. Add 2/3 cups chocolate chips to top while still warm and smooth around after they have melted. Chill for 10 minutes.
