Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2- (3.4) ounces packages instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift together the flour and baking powder, set aside.

Step 2In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. If you want the dough NOT to spread while baking, refrigerate it awhile prior to using it. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. (parchment paper works well for baking these too)

Step 3Bake for 10 to 12 minutes (pull out a minute or so early for extra chewiness) in the preheated oven. Edges should be slightly golden.
