my kids love these. i was first introduced to them at a church function and my kids got the recipe for me.

this make several dozen cookies depending on the size you make

  • 1 lb
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb
  • 4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 lb
    peanut butter
  • 6
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    karo white syrup
  • 9 c
  • 1/2 lb
    chocolate chips and m&m

How to Make Monster Cookies


  1. cream together brown sugar, baking soda, white sugar, butter and vanilla
  2. add, peanut butter, eggs and syrup
  3. stir in oatmeal and chips/m&m
  4. bake 350 degrees for roughly 10 minutes. they should only be slightly brown and still chewy. Don't over cook.
  5. This makes a lage batch of cookies. I freeze what I am not going to be using right away. That way you always have a treat for them.
